Facial Lifting or Facelift is the procedure indicated for women and men who feel that their face is older than they are, or also for those whose face it makes them look tired and doesn't reflect the energy they feel internally.
The main objectives of this procedure are to recover the "Triangle of Youth" of the face, reduce nasolabial and marionette furrows, eliminate jowls (or cheeks) and restore a well-defined jawline.
The technique I use to achieve this rejuvenation is the Extended Deepplane Facelift and it is the most advanced, natural and longest lasting technique currently available.
Duration of the intervention: 3 to 5 h
Anaesthesia: Sedation + Local or General
Recovery: 10 to 15 days
Care: Rest, medications, hyperbaric chamber, sun protection, among others.
Visible effects: Immediate results, without inflammation in an average of 6 to 12 months
Minimum stay in Cancun:
Special considerations:
- To be a candidate for this surgery, your Body Mass Index (BMI) must be less than 32 kg/m²
- You must stop smoking completely 1 month before and 1 month after surgery. Tobacco abuse damages the vascular plexus of the skin and puts patients at increased risk of ischemia or skin necrosis during recovery. (see point 4)
- Avoid undergoing Ultherapy (HIFU [high-intensity focused ultrasound]), Morpheus (Facial Radiofrequency) or another method for "non-invasive" rejuvenation 6 months before surgery, as these devices also damage the vascular plexus of the skin and confer a greater risk of necrosis or ischemia to the patient during recovery.
- Patients with these last two antecedents may require extra medications to those considered in a routine recovery, as well as extra sessions in the hyperbaric chamber not included in the initial price
