Deep Neck Lift (Neck Only)

Some patients, even when young, have an obtuse neck, that is, seen in profile it runs obliquely from their chin to their airway, seen from three-quarters it has no definition of the mandibular line and seen from the front a double chin is seen; developing this type of neck is hereditary rather than being related to excess body weight.
He Deep neck lift It is the surgical technique by which I modify the different layers of the neck, for example by removing fat from superficial and deep planes to the platysma and subsequently tightening and changing the shape of this muscle to give my patients a neck with an acute mentocervical angle and a well-defined jawline.

Duration of the intervention: 2 to 3 hours

Care: Rest, medication, drainage, sun protection, among others.
Visible effects: Immediate results, with no inflammation in an average of 6 to 12 months
Duration of result: Long lasting (10 to 12 years)
Minimum stay in Cancun: 11 days (2 before surgery, the day of surgery and 8 after)
Special considerations:

1. To be a candidate for this surgery, your Body Mass Index (BMI) must be less than 32 kg/m²
2. You must stop smoking completely 1 month before and 1 month after surgery. Tobacco abuse damages the skin's vascular plexus and puts patients at greater risk of skin ischemia or necrosis during their recovery. (see point 4)
3. Avoid undergoing Ultherapy (HIFU [high-intensity focused ultrasound]), Morpheus (facial radiofrequency) or other "non-invasive" neck rejuvenation methods 6 months before surgery, as these devices also damage the skin's vascular plexus and give the patient a greater risk of necrosis or ischemia during recovery.
4. Patients with these last two predispositions may require additional medications beyond those considered in routine recovery, as well as sessions in the hyperbaric chamber not included in the initial price.
