He Facelift or Facelift It is the recommended procedure for women and men who feel that their face looks older than it is, or also for those whose face makes them look tired and does not reflect the energy they feel inside.
The main objectives of this procedure are to restore the "triangle of youth" of the face, reduce nasolabial and marionette lines, eliminate jowls (or chubby cheeks), and restore a well-defined jawline.
The technique I use to achieve this rejuvenation is the Extended Deep Plane Facelift, and it is the most advanced, natural, and longest-lasting technique that currently exists.
Duration of the intervention: 3 to 5 hours
Anesthesia: Sedation + Local or General
Recovery: 10 to 15 days
Care: Rest, medication, hyperbaric chamber, sun protection, among others.
Visible effects: Immediate results, with no inflammation in an average of 6 to 12 months
Duration of result: Long lasting (10 to 12 years)
Minimum stay in Cancun: 10 days (2 before surgery, the day of surgery and 7 after)
Special considerations:
- To be a candidate for this surgery, your Body Mass Index (BMI) must be less than 32 kg/m²
- You must stop smoking completely 1 month before and 1 month after surgery. Tobacco abuse damages the skin's vascular plexus and puts patients at greater risk of skin ischemia or necrosis during their recovery. (see point 4)
- Avoid undergoing any of the following procedures 6 months before surgery: Ultherapy (HIFU [high-intensity focused ultrasound]), Morpheus (facial radiofrequency) or other "non-invasive" rejuvenation methods, as these devices also damage the vascular plexus of the skin and give the patient a greater risk of necrosis or ischemia during recovery.
- Patients with these last two risk factors may require additional medications beyond those considered in routine recovery, as well as extra sessions in the Hyperbaric chamber not included in the initial price
