Bichectomy

The bichectomy It is the surgery by which the Bichat fat pads, which form most of the cheeks, are removed.

With this procedure you can improve your facial contour, slim your face, and accentuate your cheekbones and chin.

This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia.
The bags are removed through an incision located inside the mouth on each side; I use a radiofrequency device to make this incision, which provides greater precision and safety in case of bleeding. Once the bag is removed, the wound is closed with an absorbable suture.
I always prescribe treatment with antibiotics and painkillers, as well as rest and close monitoring during the first few days of recovery.
